How to Care for Your Frame
Our framed prints use premium acrylic glazing rather than traditional glass. It is lightweight, safer for delivery and gives your artwork a beautifully clear finish. With a little care, your frame will continue looking its best for years to come.
Dust Gently
Use a clean, soft microfibre cloth or soft duster to remove everyday dust. Avoid rubbing the surface too firmly, as small particles can cause fine marks.
Cleaning the Acrylic
If your acrylic front needs more than a light dust, use a fresh microfibre cloth lightly dampened with clean lukewarm water. Wipe gently without applying heavy pressure.
Never Spray Directly
If you use a specialist acrylic cleaner, apply a small amount to your cloth first. Never spray cleaning products directly onto the acrylic or frame.
Avoid Harsh Cleaning Products
Do not use standard window cleaner, ammonia, alcohol, acetone, solvents or abrasive cleaning products. These can damage or cloud the acrylic surface.
Keep Away From Excess Heat
Avoid hanging your artwork directly above radiators, fireplaces or other strong heat sources. A stable indoor temperature is best for both your artwork and frame.
Handle With Care
When moving your frame, hold it securely by the frame itself rather than pressing on the acrylic front. Avoid placing the acrylic face-down onto hard surfaces.
