Let this tribute to Japanese culture bring its early-morning beauty to your room.
Taking inspiration from precious Japanese woodblock prints, this print fuses a classic image of the Geisha (Japanese performing artist) with a tribute to the Great Wave off Kanagawa.
(The latter, of course, being the most famous work of art in Japanese history.)
The background is in the style of thickly-woven canvas. The Geisha wears golden-yellow flowers in her hair (in Japanese, these ornaments are called Kanzashi), and holds a folding fan that doubles as the rising sun.
An inspired touch — giving this work-of-art extra depth for you to enjoy gazing at, at sunrise.
We personally print every design you order on luxuriously thick, satin-smooth 260gsm paper & Premium Matte Paper.
And we use only the most premium quality, high-pigment inks — for rich, bold colours that'll be just as vibrant in 20 years as they are today.
